Washington DC is not somewhere I ever actually expected to see.
Even when I stood in the National Mall, with the Washington Memorial, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial all within view with the turn of my head, I still couldn't quite believe what I was seeing. It's just damn cool to get to see all of these noble monuments and buildings that hold so much importance to so many people.
